Ways to Help the NFB of Kentucky
NFB of Kentucky State Convention
The National Federation of the Blind of Kentucky (NFBK) holds a state convention annually. Members from across the state will be present to discuss the issues that affect the blind of our Commonwealth. NFBK is the state affiliate of the National Federation of the Blind (NFB). Our National center is located in Baltimore, Maryland. We are the largest organization of the blind in the nation with a membership of over 50,000. We are the blind speaking for the blind.
In addition to conducting the business of the organization we will plan social activities for our members. We are hoping that you will be able to help make our convention an even bigger success by donating an item that can be used for a door prize. Door prizes have always been a popular attraction at our conventions. The NFB of Kentucky is a 501 (c) (3) not-for-profit organization.
If you would like to make a donation, please donate using our Go Fund Me initiative.
The NFB of Kentucky will be selling key chains. Contact a chapter president if you are interested in purchasing one or more.
They are round and silver in color. NFB is written in bold letters on one side and the retro WHOZIT NFB logo is on the reverse side. They are well-made and only cost $3.
